]]> http://feitphoto.com/blog/?feed=rss2&p=69 0 AFAR launch http://feitphoto.com/blog/?p=61 http://feitphoto.com/blog/?p=61#comments Tue, 11 Aug 2009 04:13:25 +0000 cfeit http://feitphoto.com/blog/?p=61 back in feb/march i spent 2 1/2 weeks traveling through the atlas mountains in morocco, photographing a story for a new travel magazine named “AFAR.”  it’s just launched (on newsstands as of aug 18) and i am thrilled that they chose an image of mine for the cover.  it looks like it will be a great new publication and i can’t wait to get a copy and read it.

it was me, the writer, the guide/driver, his partner and a friend of theirs. a tight squeeze in a car packed full of luggage and gear, but we had many wonderful nights camping out and were able to experience some of the most interesting and beautiful parts of morocco.

here’s the cover – it’s from the beginning of the trip as we were heading south down the coast from agadir toward guelmim.  i’ll post the rest of the pages in the next few days.
